The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) invites you to read the latest edition of the English-language report on the state of the medical and pharmaceutical sector in Poland “The Medical Devices and Pharma sector in Poland”.
The publication also contains an extensive catalogue of Polish companies specializing in the production of medical and pharmaceutical devices, looking for business opportunities and new contacts abroad.
The importance of the medical and pharmaceutical sector for the Polish economy
The medical and pharmaceutical devices sector is one of the most important areas of the Polish economy, making a valuable contribution to the development of medicine, improving patient care and increasing access to effective and safe medical solutions.
Development of Polish medical and pharmaceutical companies
For several years, Poland has been recording an increase in the number of companies producing medical and pharmaceutical devices offering unique technological solutions. The value of exported products is also growing. The position of Polish companies operating in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors on the international arena and their recognition abroad is also steadily increasing.
Poland is among the world’s top ten exporters of medical equipment, and forecasts for the next five years predict stable growth. The pharmaceutical sector, in turn, is the sixth largest in the European Union, and in the last few years many promising pharmaceutical start-ups with global potential have appeared in Poland – comments Katarzyna Duber-Stachurska, PARP’s Chairman.
The Medical and Pharma Sector Promotion Program
The report was prepared as part of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Sector Promotion Program, implemented by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development as part of the non-competitive project entitled “Internationalization of SMEs – Brand Hub” action 2.26 of the “European Funds for Smart Economy 2021-2027” (FENG) Program.
