Polish national stand at the SIAL Paris 2024 exhibition
The SIAL Paris exhibition – one of the most important and the largest exhibition events of the food industry in the world – was held between 19 and 23 October 2024 in Paris. The 60. edition of the Paris fair, which is organised every 2 years, gathered 7,500 exhibitors from 130 countries in 11 halls.

Strong Polish presence at the SIAL Paris 2024
During this-year SIAL Paris, Poland was the 9th country in terms of rented exhibition space. The jubilee edition of fair attracted 253 exhibitors from Poland. Polish national stands were organised by the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR) under the “Poland tastes good” brand in 3 halls: Fine Food, Confectionery and Beverages. The stand in the Fine Food hall was partially organised under the sectoral promotion programme for the food industry.
KOWR promoted 55 entrepreneurs in total at its stands: 10 companies from the confectionery and snacks sector, 8 companies from the beverage sector and 37 companies exhibiting the following products in the Fine Food hall: fresh apples, fruit juices and concentrates, processed fruit, vegetable and mushroom products, herbs and teas, milk products, fish and fish products, egg powders, seeds and leguminous plants, cereal, organic and gluten-free products, spices, sauces and mayonnaises, prepared dishes, candies, cookies and chocolate products.
Brand HUB promotion in Paris
The stand in the Fine Food sector was organised as part of the sector promotion programme for the food sector 2024-2029 (Brand HUB). As part of this stand, Polish companies could benefit from a B2B meeting area provided free of charge. The BRAND HUB zone also hosted culinary demonstrations, during which visitors to the national stand could taste flagship dishes of Polish cuisine.
SIAL Paris and new opportunities for food producers
The exhibition organisers attach great importance to presentations of the new products and the SIAL Innovation competition, in which the Polish products also take part and are awarded. The Paris exhibition serves primarily as an excellent platform to establish business contacts with the potential contractors from France and around the world at a single point. The Polish companies exhibiting under the “Poland tastes good” brand could showcase their export offer and the newest products to 285,000 visitors from 200 countries. Approx. 85% of the visitors came from outside France.
SIAL Paris is a must-see scheduled for each October in even years in the calendars of the food sector operators. Apart from establishing new business contacts, regular presence at SIAL Paris as an exhibitor helps to consolidate the entrepreneur’s position in the sector.
The next edition of SIAL Paris will be held on 17-21 October 2026. KOWR intends to be there for the seventh time.
