PAIH’s Regional Trade Office in Lublin is open

The Polish Investment and Trade Agency has launched another of its Regional Trade Offices. The PAIH office in Lublin was officially opened by the Minister of Development and Technology, Krzysztof Hetman, the Chairman of PAIH’s Management Board, Andrzej Dycha, and the Mayor of Lublin, Krzysztof Żuk. The office will provide support for Polish companies from the entire province. It will also support them in their contacts with Ukraine.
PAIH’s Regional Trade Offices have been established to act as a response to the needs of Polish companies throughout Poland. The location of such an office in the Lublin region will support entrepreneurs from Eastern Poland, also in establishing business relations in Ukraine. The opening of PAIH’s Regional Trade Office in Lublin was also attended by numerous representatives of local business and support institutions.
As Minister of Development and Technology, opening up to Polish entrepreneurs and meeting them, removing barriers for companies and helping them develop are priorities for me. The establishment of PAIH’s Regional Trade Office in Lublin is a response to the needs entrepreneurs in this area. This office will offer real support for those who want to develop on international markets, but also for those who want to develop their business in the Lublin Voivodeship – the PAIH office will also work to attract new investments to the region. Cooperation with local economic organizations, educational activities, information about foreign and local markets are of invaluable help for entrepreneurs who think about their business on a global scale. I am glad that the Lublin region is joining the ranks of regions which, through PAIH, can gain support even more effectively

PAIH’s Chairman emphasized that companies from the Lublin Voivodeship have great potential for expansion and in order to make full use of this, the Agency must operate close to them. At the same time, he added that the activities of the regional office will allow for more effective access to entrepreneurs and local business support institutions which PAIH can offer, which includes support in the process of foreign expansion or attracting foreign investors.
We meet the needs of local businesses that are ready for further development. Lublin and the entire province now gain a place where they can obtain knowledge, establish relationships and receive the support necessary for successful expansion. In recent decades, the Polish economy has had a history of unprecedented economic development. In order to maintain this trend, we are opening regional offices to encourage contact and thus support the international development of local companies
– said PAIH’s Chairman Andrzej Dycha
The Mayor of Lublin, Krzysztof Żuk, who took part in the opening, emphasized that the internationalization of business is a natural path of development for every company. At the same time, he pointed to PAIH’s regional office as a place where they will be able to receive the support necessary for quick and effective expansion into foreign markets and acquiring foreign partners.
Lublin has very good conditions to become an export and business hub for eastern markets, especially the Ukrainian market. This is facilitated by the development of the communication infrastructure and the increase in the competitiveness of local business. The location of new Government institutions in Lublin, such as PAIH’s Regional Trade Office, which is being opened today, is a natural step to strengthen our economic position, as well as confirming consistent implementation of the assumptions of the Lublin 2030 Strategy in the context of the development of Lublin’s metropolitan functions
– said the Mayor of Lublin, Krzysztof Żuk.
The event was also attended by PAIH’s experts, who presented the possibilities of cooperation to the entrepreneurs at the conference and presented in detail the areas of the Agency’s activities.
PAIH’s Regional Trade Office in Lublin is located at Nr.2 Spokojna Street and operates from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m..
