American companies in Poland – a report
A conference devoted to a Report on American companies investments in Poland, was held at the Warsaw School of Economics on June 28th 2023. The report was prepared by the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland (AmCham) and the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH).
Promoted by SGH and AmCham, the conference gathered representatives from academia and the economic and business sector. It was attended by ,among others, the U.S. Ambassador to Poland – Mark Brzezinski, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland (AmCham) – Tony Housh and the Rector of the Warsaw School of Economics, Prof. Piotr Wachowiak,PhD.
The purpose of the short meeting was to present a cross-sectional report summarizing the investments of American companies in Poland. The document just released discusses employment, investment, operating income and assets. At the same time, it is a kind of register of trans-Atlantic companies active on the Polish market. In addition to the presentation of the report and previous achievements, the prospects for future cooperation were also discussed.
