The Polish-Dominican Chamber of Commerce (PDIG) is a bilateral organization of economic self-government, working for the development of Polish-Dominican economic relations and representing the interests of member companies, in particular to state authorities, and providing information about trade opportunities in the Dominican Republic; it is also one of the most important Dominican foreign chambers of commerce and industry in the world.

PDIG is the only institution in Poland tasked with promoting trade contacts between Poland and the Dominican Republic and supporting the development of bilateral economic relations at the highest level.

Areas of export support

  1. Collecting and disseminating information concerning the economic situation in the Republic of Poland and the Dominican Republic, in particular information on the status and development of economic and trade policy issues through the publication of circular materials, yearbooks, reviews and other publications.
  2. Providing economic information and advisory services, in particular by drawing up opinions, market analyses and reports.
  3. Indicating sales, supply and investment opportunities in the Republic of Poland and the Dominican Republic.
  4. Organizing economic missions, press conferences, information seminars
    information, symposia, conferences, discussions, fairs, exhibitions and other promotional events.
  5. Cooperating with universities and scientific and research institutions.
  6. Mediating in the settlement of disputes between entities participating in bilateral and multilateral economic contacts, including through the organization of arbitration.
  7. Issuing certificates and attestations.
  8. Cooperating and exchanging experiences with domestic and foreign chambers of industry and commerce and other self-government organizations associating entrepreneurs.
  9. Conducting publishing activities for the implementation of statutory tasks.
  10. Representing the opinions of members of the Chamber in the creation and amendment of regulations in the field of economic policy.
