The Economic Chamber of Traders, Grain Processors and Feed Manufacturers (The Grain and Feed Chamber)
We have been operating on the market since 1997 and currently have more than 50 member companies from the cereal, feed and feed additives sectors. Our members are also companies providing services to the agricultural sector such as investments, transport and quality control. The aim of our activity is to represent our members before public authority, including close cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Climate and Environment, as well as institutions subordinated by these authorities. We also work with other industry organizations including the poultry, cattle and plant products sector. We are a member of the European organizations such as COCERAL (European Association of trade in cereals, oilseeds, pulses, olive oil, oils and fats, animal feed and agrosupply), FEFAC (European Feed Manufacturers’ Federation) and ECE (European Commodity Exchange).
Areas of export support
We do monitoring and actively take part in consultations on legal provisions regulating trade in grain, feed and feed additives sector. We report to the public authority the problems encountered by our members related to the export of grains and feeds as well as feed additives. It concerns, among others, the procedures for agreeing phytosanitary certificates, coordinating the exchange of information between the exporters and authorities that supervise the trade in grain, feed and feed additives. We submit proposals for solutions supporting and promoting the export of our members’ products.
