Poland’s high-tech industry in the area of security and dual-use products offers a wide range of products and systems related to unmanned systems, defence, transport and cybersecurity, among other things. Polish manufacturers work closely with research and development institutes, universities and science and technology parks. The growth of this industry is supported, among others, by the Military University of Technology, which provides education in the area of security and defence-related technologies. Polish Composite Technology Cluster – a nationwide network of companies, research institutes, universities and organisations supporting the development of innovative composite technologies. The cluster integrates entities operating in the area of advanced materials, supporting their cooperation in research, design, production and implementation of modern solutions for industries such as aviation, automotive, energy, transport and defence. Its activities focus on technology transfer, enhancing the competitiveness of the Polish composite materials sector and promoting innovation in national and international markets.
Polish Chamber of Unmanned Systems – an industry organisation bringing together companies, research institutions and entities operating in the field of unmanned technologies, including drones, autonomous systems and solutions supporting their use. The Chamber supports the development of the country’s UAV sector by integrating the environment, initiating innovative projects, cooperating with public administration and working towards the creation of modern regulations conducive to market development. It aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Polish unmanned technologies, promote good practices and build Poland’s position as a significant participant in the global market for unmanned systems.
