SAPHEX is Africa's answer to the global network of main stream pharmaceutical shows that work to great effect in many of the developed and developing markets across the world. As yet, Africa hasn't had anything that showcases the sheer scale of opportunity that this continent has to offer in all aspects of pharmaceuticals incorporating the full supply chain, and in November, across two days at the Sandton Convention Centre, SAPHEX will bring together the industry and create a number of business platforms that will allow local, regional and international pharma executives to meet, network, share best practice and innovation, develop new business alliances or reinforce existing ones, and ultimately help develop both the South African & African pharma market places, to the advantage of all the companies, associations and government offices that will be involved.

With two conference streams running over two days there will be number of delegations coming from South Africa and the local neighbours, namely the SADC countries, as well as several significant government, organisation and association representatives from the bigger markets in West, East and North Africa. SAPHEX is a show for the continent, by the companies that work within it. Our line-up of industry leading speakers is getting stronger and stronger, providing attendees with both engaging & cutting-edge content, all of which is geared to drive and encourage business within South Africa and Africa. The main conference stream at SAPHEX 2017 will be focused on the pharmaceutical manufacture and supply chain across Africa. Held under the theme: ‘The sustainability of pharma in Africa’ the conference programme is designed to address topics and issues that are pertinent to successfully manufacturing and delivering drugs to patients in the continent. There will be a territorial focus that will centre on South Africa, but there will be numerous speakers from across Africa. They will deliver best practice-methods, success stories and approval issues from their respective areas of the continent, so this is very much a conference delivering lessons from all parts of Africa.
